This makes a dramatic change in appearance, but you will need to have patience in positioning this for best results. BEFORE REMOVING THE STRIPS FROM THE DOUBLE STICK TAPE, I positioned it, then used masking tape in 4 places to attach it to the speaker grille. I then drew a liine along the length of the masking tape with a sharpie pen, and cut the masking tape at the perimeter of the chrome speaker accent leaving some tape on the speaker accent and some on the dash. Then I removed the backing strips from the double stick tape and carefully lined up the lines on the tape on the speaker accent and the tape on the dash before pressing them firmly in place. There is a little gap between the trim pieces and the dash / speaker grill, but it does make a significant improvement to the appearance of the dull black / charcoal dash. I've attached a picture of what they look like installed on my 2006 GL1800P.Make the goldwing look good.I had to bend them to fit the contour then had to use better adhesive tape to hold them in place.I think they improved the Chrome on these but the fit was nut just right. I had to bend them to lay flat on the speaker grillsokVery easy to installThe double back tape will not stick not good!!!!Terrible fit. Will not stick all the way around speaker covers.Beautiful. Easy to install the only thing why I didn't give a five stars is because I had to buy double side tape because the tape fixe on one of the piece didn't stick on the speaker grill. So I had to fix it.
