Ever since I have gone to a 5.2 system, I have learned that the correct center channel speaker is the one that goes with the front L-R’s. After purchasing the Elac Unify References recently, I tried to use my old Unify UC5 for center. It’s a good speaker, but didn’t match well at all. The price of the UCR62 is daunting, so I waited for a sale before I pulled the trigger, and I’m glad I did. The system is back to sounding great, and I saved a few bucks.
