JBL EON710 10" Powered PA Speaker with Bluetooth - Wireless Portable Sound System for Outdoor Events, Parties & Live Performances (Pair)

Ok, our rock band has been using QSC K12.2s for mains with QSC K112 Sub. Ok at low levels, but when cranked, don't like the sound. K12s big and heavy too. Tried Mackies: no good. Tried RCF ART710s: No good. Tried Yamahas: Kind of ok. These JBL EON710s are awesome. Clean and balanced. No cone/colored/scooped/sharp/odd sound. Very pleasant to the ear. We still use our QSC sub; however it is very important that these run top down to the sub as 100hz crossover. Set sub same. 10inch speakers sound better this say than 80hz for 12s and 18s. Again; these sound better run top down out of a mixer than bottom up. JBL shows them run this way. We didn't make this up. To address the few folks that have posted that these and the old EON610s aren't loud enough....It is not true. These comments are a case of not reading the manual and knowing how to set the speaker. Weve done it and been there. We understand. These eon710s are not one knob volume setting like the old 610s and QSCs. They have the Mackie main and gain knobs. Turn the main all the way up, then adjust the gain with your mixer on unity. Also with a sub out adjust the output gain in the menu to 6db or the sub wont be loud enough. This isnt realy much but the rewards are awesome!
