This mouse is available on Amazon in two different colors - black or blue. Some of the photos don't do justice for this small dark blue mouse. The top side of the mouse is a dark shade of blue, while the underside (which you don't see when using the mouse) is an aqua light blue. The scroll wheel matches the underside.The blue mouse looks good when used with a navy blue or royal blue laptop (like the ASUS Zenbook UX370).This mouse is smaller than a normal desktop mouse, but not as tiny as some travel mice. Will fit most hands comfortably. I'm 6'2" with large hands and enjoy using the mouse when sitting at the couch, while my 5'1" daughter with small hands can use the mouse anywhere for many hours doing school work without issue.The mouse has a small blue light that flashes when in Bluetooth pairing mode.Ordered this mouse from Amazon, received the next day, pulled the mouse from its package, opened the battery door and removed the pull-tape from the battery, closed the battery door, and while the blue light was flashing on the mouse, turned on a Bluetooth-equipped Windows laptop, went into the Control Panel, Devices, Bluetooth, Add Device, and Windows immediately paired with the mouse. No special software install necessary for Windows 10. Easy setup!Logitech states this mouse will work with Mac and Windows computers, Android mobile devices and Chromebooks.The mouse has an on/off switch adjacent to the battery door. It was "on" when received new, but there is a pull-tape for shipping to avoid the mouse running until you unpack it. I believe the mouse automatically sleeps when not in use, but this doesn't present a challenge to wake-up when you're ready to use again. The small blue light on the mouse only flashes when in pairing mode, and doesn't appear to turn on at any other time, effectively hidden.The optic under this mouse works on many different surface types without issue, to include wood tables, white plastic tables, leather armrests, cloth armrests, blue plastic and gray plastic surfaces of laptop palmrests, jeans, etc. I haven't tested this mouse on a clear glass table, which may give it a challenge. If you absolutely need a mouse that will work on _any_ surface, the "Logitech MX Anywhere 2S" model uses darkfield technology which reportedly will work on clear glass (and costs significantly more than this M535 model).When shipped, the mouse will arrive in clear plastic packaging. The backside of the plastic is perforated, making it very easy to open, _without_ having to cut into the plastic with scissors or other tools.The primary benefit of using a Bluetooth mouse versus a wireless USB mouse is that operating in native Bluetooth mode with a PC or Android device that supports Bluetooth allows you to use the mouse without having to deal with a small USB dongle necessary in other wireless models. This is an especially important feature for newer model thin laptops that don't have many USB ports, and/or you may not want an extruding dongle connected to the laptop.In daily operation, I've not encountered any challenges with this mouse. Works well in Windows 10 with default settings. No problems with accuracy, lag or jitter. Responds well during light gaming sessions.Overall, thumbs up, and would buy again! No complaints.
